Haldimand County has 43 designated heritage properties as well as a large number of unique buildings, attractive streetscapes and parklands. This built heritage of Haldimand County contributes to its unique character and pride of place. These properties give residents a sense of our history and provide a vital physical link to the past.
To be considered, Properties must be designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act or appear on Haldimand County's List of Properties of Potential Heritage Significance; other properties may be considered at the discretion of the Heritage Haldimand Award panel.
The primary volunteer activity/event must have taken place in the past 24 months, and the Recognition Night recipient from the previous year is not eligible to be nominated.
