Ontario Parks and Grand River Conservation Authority Parks Passes

Borrow a Vehicle Permit and visit any Ontario Provincial Park or Grand river Conversation Authority Park on us!

We’re excited to announce that you can now borrow an Ontario Parks Vehicle Permit from the library! This permit allows entry to any provincial park for one vehicle and its passengers for the day.

Local parks available for safe day-use include:

Pass Rules:

  • Passes are good for one vehicle and all its occupants;
  • Passes represent day passes to Ontario Parks and are not intended for camp sites;
  • Passes do not guarantee park entry if park occupancy limits are met on a given day;
  • The charge for lost or unreturned passes is $99;
  • Passes are loaned for one week. No renewals. Overdue rates are $1/day, the same as DVDs;
  • Passes must be borrowed on adult cards;

The Grand River Parks membership card allows day use entry to 10 parks and the Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area, during their operating seasons, for up to six people in one vehicle (or walking/biking in as a group).

Pass Rules:

  • Only 3 passes were provided and the GRCA specified that be kept one each at the Caledonia, Cayuga and Dunnville Branches.
  • Passes are good for one vehicle, with a limit of 6 occupants;
  • Passes represent day passes to GRCA parks (including Byng Island, locally) are not intended for camp sites;
  • Passes do not guarantee park entry if park occupancy limits are met on a given day;
  • All 3 passes are available only on a first-come, first served basis;
  • 1 week loan period, no renewals;
  • $140 replacement fee;
  • Passes must be borrowed on adult cards
