Update: On October 3rd, 2020, the Ontario government updated Regulation 364/20 with new, stricter mask regulations.
Masks are now mandatory throughout the province in all indoor public areas, on transit, and in workplaces where physical distancing isn’t possible. This applies to everyone over the age of two.

Haldimand County’s Face Coverings By-Law No. 2191/20 is superseded by the Province’s regulations. The County’s by-law expires November 3, 2020 and will not be extended. Should the Province rescind its regulations, staff will seek advice from the Health Unit and if necessary, work towards bringing another by-law forward for Council’s consideration.
