Caledonia Master Service Plan

The Caledonia Master Service Plan is a comprehensive plan for water distribution, wastewater, and storm drainage that documents existing servicing conditions, identifies future servicing needs and guides overall system management.

The initial Caledonia Master Plan was initiated in 2006 for water, storm drainage, sanitary and transportation projects. In 2020 we completed an update for the plan to review the existing servicing conditions and determine the future servicing needs over the next 20 years.

The 2020 plan reflected updated land use and growth forecasts in the Caledonia area. The plan also included the evaluation of wastewater treatment alternatives to address projected treatment capacity constraints. 

The alternatives identified in the 2020 plan update are currently under review through a Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment study. See Caledonia Wastewater Treatment Plant Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment for more information.
