Municipal and School Board Elections
Ontario municipal and school board elections are held every four years on the fourth Monday in October. These elections give residents a direct say in how their communities are run. In these elections, voters choose their local mayors, councillors, and school board trustees, offering an opportunity for residents of Haldimand County to influence local priorities and the future of public education.

2026 Municipal Elections campaign financial statements
Per the Municipal Elections Act, every candidate and registered third-party advertiser in the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections must file a financial statement reporting their contributions and expenses. Statements are completed and submitted by candidates and third-party advertisers.
The financial statements are scanned into PDF format from handwritten hard copies. These may not be accessible to readers using assistive devices.
