Haldimand County Confirms List of Certified Candidates for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections
The nomination period for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections has officially closed, marking the next stage in Haldimand County’s elections process.
Notice is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of Haldimand County that during the period commencing on May 1, 2026, and completed on Nomination Day, August 21, 2026, the following persons filed all necessary papers, declarations and fees, and as Municipal Clerk, I am satisfied that such persons are qualified and that their Nominations satisfy the requirements of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996.

Voters in Haldimand County may be eligible to vote for candidates for the French Public and/or French Separate School Boards, depending on their eligibility and school support status.
