Haldimand County’s Municipal Clerk has certified the results of the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections. These results are now considered official.
The official voter turnout for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections was 36.31%. 8610 of ballots were cast online (50.37%), and 8481 (49.62%) were cast in-person at advance polls or on Voting Day.
In 2022, voter turnout was 36.0% (41,157 on Voters List, 14,825 votes cast). 41% of votes were cast online and 49% were cast in-person (6,074 online, 8,751 in person = 14,825).
