Being a by-law to establish pedestrian crossovers in Haldimand County

1.  THAT pedestrian crossovers be established as outlined in Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of this by-law, noting the road where the crossover is to be located in Column 1 of Schedule “A”, at the intersection and/or location listed in Column 2 of Schedule “A”.

2. THAT the pedestrian crossovers to be installed at the locations outlined in Schedule “A” will be designed and installed in accordance with Ontario Regulation 402/15, be consistent with a Level 2 Type B or C crossover as listed in Column 4 of Schedule “A” in accordance with Ontario Traffic Manual Book 15 and will follow the guidelines provided in the Ministry of Transportation’s Highway Standards Branch Policy Memo for Pedestrian Crossovers.

3. AND THAT this by-law shall come into force and take effect when signage and line marking applicable to this provision has been installed and is on display.
