Student Coin Contest
Help us celebrate Haldimand County’s 25th anniversary by designing a Haldimand County 25‑cent coin! We’re inviting local students to show us what makes Haldimand special to them through creativity, colour, and imagination.
Who can enter
The contest is open to all Haldimand County students from Kindergarten to Grade 8.
Winning designs will be selected from three age categories:
- Kindergarten to Grade 3
- Grades 4 to 6
- Grades 7 to 8
How to Enter
To participate, students must design a 25‑cent Haldimand County coin using the provided template. Colour and decorate the coin to show what makes Haldimand County special to you. Be sure to be creative, have fun, and make it your own. One (1) entry per student.
Deadline: Submit by March 30, 2026.
Option 1: Online submission
Students submitting online must:
- Download the coin template
- Design and colour the 25‑cent Haldimand County coin to show what makes Haldimand special to you
- Upload the completed coin design through the online form, where you will be asked to provide:

- School / Teacher
- Parent or Guardian Contact Information
- Grade Category
Option 2: In‑person or email submission
Students submitting in person or by email must:
- Download and complete a paper entry form (PDF), which includes:
- The required student and parent/guardian information
- The 25‑cent coin design template
- Design and colour the coin directly on the entry form document
- Submit the completed entry form:
- In person at the Haldimand County Administration Building, or
- By email to tlong@haldimandcounty.ca
Teachers may submit entries in bulk by email if they choose.
