Black History of Haldimand County
Grade level: 3-10
Learn about Haldimand’s Black History exploring topics like the Underground Railroad and Canfield’s Black community.

Grade level: 6-8
Students will learn how the natural environment shaped the lives of settlers in Haldimand and surrounding communities along the Grand River.

Using Primary Sources for School Projects

Students will learn how to conduct family history research and learn about family origins in Haldimand County.
