Quarterly breakthrough workshops

Are you spending too much time working in your business instead of on it? Our Quarterly Business Breakthrough Sessions are designed to help local business owners and entrepreneurs build practical skills, gain valuable insights, and focus on the strategies that can move their business forward. These sessions are free to access and attend for any Chamber of Commerce members in Haldimand County.

If you are not a member of a local Chamber of Commerce, an admission ticket to the 4 sessions is $495.00 (not sold individual). If you would like to join a Chamber of Commerce to gain access to these sessions, please contact opportunity@haldimandcounty.ca, or connect directly with one of our Chambers of Commerce by visiting our Business Organizations page.

When: November 4th, 2026 from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Where: Jarvis Community Centre, 18 James St, Jarvis

In our first Quarterly Business Breakthrough Session, we'll explore the power of effective delegation and how letting go of the right tasks can help you reclaim your time, empower your team, and focus on growing your business.

This presentation will be led by Jeff Ronhaar, “Head Coach” of Jeff’s Outdoor since 1994. Other industry experts will be on site, including representatives from Millard’s Chartered Professional accountants, Marshall Law Group, Jen Bubleit Coaching, Grand Erie Jobs, Scotiabank, Workforce Synergy, Grand Erie Business Centre, the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie, and Haldimand County Economic Development and Tourism.

When: February 2027

Where: Cayuga Arena, McSorley Room, 53 Thorburn St S, Cayuga

In our second Quarterly Breakthrough Workshop, we’ll explore the different financial statements, such as your income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, to help business owners can gain a clearer picture of their financial health, identify trends and opportunities, and make more informed decisions about where to focus their time and resources.

Sarah McLellan from Enterprise Brant will lead these discussions, with other industry experts on site to answer all questions!

When: June 2027

Where: The Minga Café, 146 Queen St, Dunnville

In the third Quarterly Breakthrough Workshop, we will discuss KPI’s and how tracking the right Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) can give business owners a clearer picture of how their business is
performing and where there may be opportunities for improvement. By regularly monitoring key
metrics, owners can identify trends, measure progress toward their goals, and make more informed
decisions to help drive their business forward.

This session will be lead by Ramona Gallager of Business Basics, and will feature other industry experts on site to help answer any questions!

When: September 2027

Where: Caledonia Fairgrounds, 151 Caithness St E, Caledonia

In our final Quarterly Breakthrough Workshop we will be going over how a well-planned budget can give business owners greater control over their finances and a clearer understanding of where their money is going. By learning how to build, monitor, and adjust a budget, owners can better plan for expenses, manage cash flow, set realistic goals, and make informed financial decisions that support the long-term success of their business.

This session will be co-lead by Paul Drumgle & Joshua Kiena from Futurpreneur, and will also have key industry experts around the room to help answer any questions.
