Closure notice: Victoria Day weekend - May 16 to 18

Please be advised that some Haldimand County facilities and services will be impacted by the Victoria Day holiday. See what's open and closed over the long weekend below. 

Adminstration building

The Haldimand County Administration Building will be closed on Monday, May 18, reopening on Tuesday, May 19.

Museums

The Heritage Centre

• Open for regular operating hours on Saturday, May 16
• Closed Monday, May 18

Wilson MacDonald Memorial School Museum

• Closed May 16 to 18

Edinburgh Square Heritage and Cultural Centre

• Centre remains closed for accessibility upgrades. 

Libraries

Library branches are closed on Monday, May 18, but open for regular operating hours on Saturday and Sunday. 

The Hagersville Branch remains temporarily closed for outstanding construction and finishing touches.

Garbage collection

There will be no waste collection on Monday, May 18. Collection will be delayed a day, beginning on Tuesday, May 19 and finishing on Saturday, May 23.

The Canborough Waste Management Facility will also be closed on Monday, May 18, reopening on Tuesday, May 19.
