What's open and closed over Canada Day

Some of our facilities and services are impacted by the Canada Day holiday.

Haldimand County Administration Building, Library branches, and museums

• Closed Tuesday, July 1

Garbage and recycling

• There will be no curbside waste collection on Tuesday, July 1, with all regular pickups from this day on delayed by a day, starting on Wednesday and finishing on Saturday
• Monday's pickup will occur as usual
• The Canborough Waste Management Facility will be closed on Tuesday, July 1

Splash pads

Our splash pads will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Caledonia Splash Pad – Caledonia Kinsmen Park, 25 Caithness Street West, Caledonia
• Hagersville Splash Pad – Hagersville Lions Park, 13 Laidlaw Street, Hagersville

Pools

All three of our pools will be open on Canada Day - view pool schedules. 

• The Caledonia pool will be operating on a weekend schedule
• The Dunnville and Hagersville pools will be operating on a Tuesday schedule as usual. 

The wading pool in Dunnville (Central Park, 200 Cedar Street, Dunnville) will also be open on July 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
