What's open and closed for the Labour Day weekend

Some of our facilities and services are impacted by Labour Day.

Haldimand County Administration Building

• Closed Monday, September 1

Garbage and recycling

• There will be no curbside waste collection on Monday, September 1, with all regular pickups delayed by a day starting on Tuesday and finishing on Saturday.
• The Canborough Waste Management Facility will be closed on Monday, September 1.

Libraries

• Saturday, August 30: all branches open regular hours
• Sunday, August 31: Caledonia branch open Noon to 4 p.m.
• Monday, September 1: all branches closed

Museums

• Closed August 30 through September 1

Pools

All three of our outdoor pools are open over the Labour Day weekend, running our post-season schedule. All pools close for the season at 4 p.m. on Labour Day (September 1).

• Caledonia pool - 25 Caithness Street West, Caledonia
• Dunnville pool - 640 Lock Street West, Dunnville
• Hagersville pool - 13 Laidlaw Street, Hagersville

Wading pool

The Dunnville wading pool is open as usual over the weekend from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, closing for the season at 3 p.m. on Labour Day (September 1).

Splash pads

Our splash pads are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., closing for the season at 3 p.m. on Labour Day (September 1).

• Hagersville Splash Pad – Hagersville Lions Park, 13 Laidlaw Street, Hagersville
