What's open and closed for the Civic Holiday weekend

Some of our facilities and services are impacted for the Civic holiday.

Haldimand County Administration Building

• Closed Monday, August 4

Garbage and recycling

• There will be no curbside waste collection on Monday, August 4, with all regular pickups delayed by a day starting on Tuesday and finishing on Saturday.
• The Canborough Waste Management Facility will be closed on Monday, August 4

Libraries

• Saturday, August 2: all branches open regular hours
• Sunday, August 3: Caledonia branch open Noon to 4 p.m.
• Monday, August 4: all branches closed

Museums

• Saturday, August 2: all museums open
  • Edinburgh Square - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Wilson MacDonald - 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Heritage Centre - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
• August 3 and 4: all museums closed

Pools

All three of our outdoor pools will be open over the weekend and on Monday, August 4.

• Caledonia pool - 25 Caithness Street West, Caledonia
• Dunnville pool - 640 Lock Street West, Dunnville
• Hagersville pool - 13 Laidlaw Street, Hagersville

Splash pads

Our splash pads are open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

• Caledonia Splash Pad – Caledonia Kinsmen Park, 25 Caithness Street West, Caledonia
• Hagersville Splash Pad – Hagersville Lions Park, 13 Laidlaw Street, Hagersville
