Service Disruption: Temporary Closures Due to Flooding

Please be advised that flooding has resulted in temporary closures at locations across Haldimand County. These areas will remain closed until water levels recede and staff have evaluated each location condition. Current closures include:

Parks and Facilities

• * REOPENED *York Park (40 Front Street South, York) 
• * REOPENED * Seneca Park (651 Caithness Street East, Caledonia) 
• * REOPENED between River Dr. and Seneca Park * Rotary Trail (York to Seneca Park, Caledonia)
• * REOPENED * Lower Kinsmen Park (61 Ouse Street South, Cayuga)

Roads

• * REOPENED *  Forfar Street East, Caledonia (between Argyle Street South and Berwick Street)
  • This section of road is being closed proactively to ensure the safety of students and residents who will be in the area at the end of today's school day. Families of River Heights students are being notified of updated pickup plans. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use alternative routes until further notice.
