Public Information Session for Caledonia Pickleball Park planned for August 27, online survey available until August 29

In August 2024, Haldimand County Council approved a Community Partnership Program (CPP) request from the Royal Canadian Legion Caledonia Branch 154 for the construction of a multi-court pickleball park in McKinnon Park in Caledonia. Before construction could begin, the Legion and its supporters were responsible for raising almost $300,000 towards the project.

Just one year later, the Legion and the County are excited to announce that the project will be breaking ground shortly, following a final drop-in information session regarding the design of the park. Two in-person sessions will take place Wednesday, August 27 at the Haldimand County Caledonia Centre (Caledonia Arena, 100 Haddington St.), from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Residents will also be able to provide feedback on the park's design and accessibility through an online survey, open until August 29. All feedback is welcome.
