Notice of passing of a By-law to repeal a heritage designation
Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18 – Section 32(3)
Take notice that the Corporation of Haldimand County passed By-law 2656/25 on December 15, 2025, to repeal By-law 1989-23, which had designated the property known as the Seneca Iron Bridge, located between Lots 26 and 27, on the closed portion of old Highway #54, Haldimand County, as being of cultural heritage value or interest under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
This repeal by-law will come into force and effect 30 days after its passing (December 15, 2025), provided that no notice of appeal has been filed with the Clerk of the Municipality in accordance with the Ontario Heritage Act.
