Notice of construction: Traffic signal upgrades in Hagersville and Cayuga
Work is scheduled to begin the week of October 5 on traffic signal upgrades at intersections in Hagersville and Cayuga.
Hagersville - King Street and Main Street intersection
Construction duration: Week of October 5 to early November
Work to be completed includes:
- Asphalt roadway resurfacing extending approximately 50 m in all directions from the intersection
- Revised line painting configuration including the addition of dedicated left-turn lanes on the eastbound and westbound approaches of King Street
- Traffic signal upgrades and accessibility improvements
Traffic impacts
Beginning October 8, traffic control measures and intermittent lane closures will be in place at both intersections. While minor delays may occur, access through intersections will remain open in all directions. Overnight road closures will be required in Hagersville for milling and paving operations, tentatively scheduled for October 16 and 19.
