What’s next?
With Voting Day fast approaching, eligible voters are encouraged to make sure they’re on the Voter’s List by looking up their information at www.haldimandvotes.ca. This is especially important as ward boundaries have changed as a result of the 2024 Ward Boundary Review.
Voter Notification Letters
All eligible voters will receive a Voter Notification Letter in the mail with a Voter Identification Number and Personal Identification Number (PIN) the week of INSERT WEEK. These numbers allow you to vote online and help election staff confirm your identity at in-person polls.
Residents are encouraged to review voting options in the weeks ahead and determine which method suits them best.
Internet voting will run from Friday, October 16, 2026, at 9 a.m. to Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 5 p.m.
In-person advance polls are open from Saturday, October 17 to Wednesday, October 21, with locations across the community. Locations and times are listed at www.haldimandvotes.ca.
All Voting Day (October 26) polls are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and are also listed on the county’s election website.
Anyone who requires assistance or accommodations to vote in the elections are encouraged to contact election@haldimandcounty.ca.
