Last call to nominate exceptional volunteers for 24th Annual Volunteer Recognition Night
Nominations remain open to celebrate and recognize Haldimand County’s amazing volunteers and the innovative projects, events and activities they create to make our community a vibrant and engaging place.
For this year, Haldimand County 25th anniversary as a municipality, the theme for Recognition Night is “Volunteers: Honouring our Past; Shaping our Future”.
Nominations are being accepted for the following award categories:
- Volunteer of the Year
- Youth Volunteer of the Year;
- Community Organization or Group of the Year;
- Community Project Award;
- Community Festival & Event Award;
- Caring Haldimand Award;
- Heritage Haldimand Award;
- Community Culture Award; and,
- Wall of Fame Induction (Caledonia, Cayuga, Dunnville, Hagersville, Jarvis).
Nominations may be submitted by filling out the appropriate form on the Recognition Night page.
Anyone wishing to submit a nomination is asked to complete the application in full and provide as much detail and supporting documentation as possible. Nominations must be submitted online by 4 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2026. Nominations will be judged by an independent committee.
