Position Summary
This role will develop and deliver a modernized corporate data integrations approach in support of a wide array of corporate hardware and software solutions. This role works to help inform business decision and lower the barriers for cross-divisional sharing of information. Initially focusing on the Financial System integrations, the role will help to define, develop, implement, and support the transition from traditional on-prem SQL integrations to a modernized iPaaS + Data Warehousing approach for all our corporate solutions. You will work closely with multiple project teams including project managers, solution analysts, and subject matter experts to develop detailed solutions, estimates, and project plans in support of business priorities.
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills
Education
- Post-secondary education relative to the area of responsibility.
- Special consideration will be given to applicants with the any following:
- Certifications in iPaaS or integration technology
- Certification in Data Orchestration and ETL tools
Experience
- Two to three years current related experience, including direct experience with iPaaS platforms
- Special consideration will be given to applicants with any the following:
- Experience as an Integration Developer with a focus on iPaaS solutions (MS Logic Apps, Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato, or other relevant solutions)
- Experience using the Microsoft 365 Azure eco-system
- Experience with API development and management
- Experience with MS SQL Server and/or other relation databases
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Knowledge/Skills
- Strong knowledge of integration technologies and protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate strategically and provide resolutions if necessary to handle significant contacts with long-term impacts.
- Demonstrated initiative, and ability to make decisions involving broadly defined work, affecting major functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within broader policies and measured by results.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise significant discretion and sensitivity involving regular work with confidential information.
- Proven ability to influence financial decisions, including authorizing discretionary expenditures.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills involving refining established ideas and/or programs of a complex nature requiring ingenuity and creativity on own efforts.
- Demonstrated capability to supervise and coordinate functional groups.
- Organizational skills with considerable attention to detail to avoid errors and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively in a team environment and guide interdisciplinary team-based discussions to increase staff morale, team building, collaboration, and community pride, including managing conflict and emergencies using tact, diplomacy, empathy, and conflict resolution skills to resolve issues.
- Technology Aptitude
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills to perform and troubleshoot common software performance and hardware issues on various technological devices while adhering to cybersecurity and leading best practices.

Responsibilities
The incumbent is responsible for, but not limited to:
Corporate
- Designs and builds integration components and interfaces, which is followed by monitoring and reporting on the results of each integration and build related to the corporation's new and existing hardware and software solutions. These solutions handle sensitive data and personal information as outlined in MFIPPA which require significant attention and discretion during handling.
People
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their integration needs and design robust and scalable integration solutions using iPaaS technologies.
Money/Asset
- Provide input to the development of the Division operating budget to maintain solutions and monitor expenditures of assigned accounts.
Functional
- iPaaS Platform:
- Develop, configure, and customize integration workflows, data mappings, and transformations within the iPaaS platform.
- Manage and maintain the iPaaS platform, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrations to ensure high availability and performance.
- Data Collection:
- Create, enhance, and manage APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) for various systems to enable seamless data exchange.
- Implement data mapping and transformation logic to ensure data consistency and accuracy across integrated systems.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, configurations, and workflows for reference and training purposes.
- Perform thorough testing and quality assurance to identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring reliability and data integrity.
