Haldimand to host virtual public information session for North Caledonia Employment Lands Feasibility and Servicing Study

Haldimand County is holding a virtual public information session for the North Caledonia Employment Lands Feasibility and Servicing Study on Wednesday, May 28 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for project consultants and Haldimand staff to share an overview of the study results, gather feedback and answer questions. Registration is required to receive a meeting link. Those interested in attending can register online through the event calendar or by emailing opportunity@haldimandcounty.on.ca.

A Council priority project, the North Caledonia Employment Lands Feasibility and Servicing Study was undertaken to develop a long-term strategy for the future development of employment lands in Caledonia to ensure Haldimand County is well-positioned to accommodate a diverse range of employment growth over the coming decades.

The study was conducted in three phases and included a review of  the key sectors and types of employment that are most suited to the area, the development of a concept plan and servicing requirements, a financial analysis, and  an implementation plan.

More information on the North Caledonia Employment Lands and Feasibility Study can be found on the Haldimand County website or by contacting the Economic Development and Tourism division.
