Haldimand County re-launches free Real Local marketing toolkit to support local businesses

Haldimand County’s Economic Development and Tourism Division has relaunched its Real Local Marketing Kit, a refreshed resource designed to help local businesses promote locally made and Canadian products and services. Available free of charge to all businesses within Haldimand County, the kit is a key component of Haldimand County’s tariff response plan, developed to support businesses in navigating Canada-US trade challenges, encourage local spending, and strengthen economic resilience.

The toolkit features a variety of branded marketing assets that celebrate Canadian pride and are designed as easy-to-use templates that businesses can seamlessly integrate into their promotional efforts. These include:

  • “Real. Local.” window decals to display in storefronts
  • Branded stickers to identify local products
  • Customizable posters and flyers highlighting local goods
  • Social media templates for business profiles and posts
  • “Proud to Be a Local Business” signage

“Now more than ever, it’s important to highlight and support what’s local,” says Lidy Romanuk, Manager of Economic Development and Tourism. “This initiative gives businesses a coordinated way to share their story and strengthen their connection to the community.”

Businesses can request a free kit to be delivered directly to their location or download digital assets by visiting BusinessHaldimand.ca. For assistance or more information, contact the Economic Development team at 905-318-5932 ext. 6331 or email opportunity@haldimandcounty.on.ca
