Mucks Pickleball x Concession Road Brewing

A Partnership Brewed Close to Home

When two Haldimand County businesses come together, the result can be something worth raising a glass.

As Mucks Pickleball & Social Club was getting started in Hagersville, an opportunity emerged to bring two Haldimand County businesses together. Concession Road Brewing Co. in nearby Jarvis was a natural fit, creating an opportunity to develop a local beer experience specifically for Mucks.

As the closest brewery to Mucks, Concession Road was a perfect partner. The two Haldimand County businesses teamed up to create something specifically for the club: a light lager and a pale ale designed exclusively for Mucks. Even the cans were designed with Mucks in mind, giving the collaboration its own identity and making the beers a unique part of the experience at the club.

For Jeff Bunton, owner at Concession Road Brewing Co., the partnership was an opportunity to be involved with another local business from the beginning and help create something that people could enjoy when they came off the courts. The goal was to give members and visitors a quality local beer while creating another connection between businesses in the community. Today, Concession Road beer is the primary beer served at Mucks, bringing together two businesses from Hagersville and Jarvis under one roof and giving customers another reason to choose local.

The partnership shows what can happen when local businesses find ways to work together. The brewery gets to create something unique for the pickleball club, while the club gives its customers a new way to connect with a local product. It's a small collaboration, but one that reflects truly how close-knit and collaborative Haldimand County's local business community really is.
