Author and advocate Jill Battle to visit Haldimand County Library

Haldimand County Public Library will host local author, podcaster, and chronic illness advocate Jill Battle for a series of special events this fall at the Caledonia and Dunnville branches.

Jill will discuss her memoir, Pain, Purpose and Pickles, which chronicles her journey through profound personal loss, a diagnosis of Addison’s disease—a rare chronic illness—and her path to self-acceptance and purpose. The book offers insight into the challenges of living with chronic illness and the importance of community, advocacy and resilience.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the author, obtain a signed copy of her book and learn more about the supportive network she has built for others navigating chronic health conditions.
