Policing in Haldimand County is provided by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) who are committed to keeping Haldimand County safe and protected. The Haldimand County detachment is overseen by the Detachment Commander and the Operations Manager. Effective January 1, 2018, Haldimand County entered into a five year agreement with the Province of Ontario which sets out the terms and conditions of this OPP contracted policing service.
