Notice of Milling/Paving: Broad St. (Pine St. to Oak St.) – November 2021

Milling and paving activities are scheduled to commence on Broad Street in Dunnville (from Pine St. to Oak St.) over the next 2-10 business days (starting November 1, weather permitting).

The roadway will be milled (grinded) and left with a drivable surface. At this time, any structures in the street will be exposed 2 inches (50mm) above the asphalt grade. Structures will be spray painted orange for visibility within the roadway. Paving will commence once all the milling is complete and roadway painting will follow quickly behind this paving.

Broad Street will remain open at all times, including access to businesses in this area, although traffic may be slow due to lane closures within this section until this work is completed. During milling and paving operations, the intersections of Cedar, Chestnut, Maple and Tamarac will be closed, and detours set up to access Broad St. from either Pine St. or Oak St.

Anyone with questions or concerns regarding construction projects may contact engineering@haldimandcounty.on.ca or call 905-318-5932 ext. 6404.
