Engineering Services wishes to advise you that construction is scheduled to recommence on this project the week of April 12th 2021. It is anticipated that work will be completed by the end of May. Work will be starting at Oak and working it’s way east over the next few weeks. Streets will remain open daily during this project, however access may be slow due to construction activities.
The work will involve repairing sidewalks, curbs and select driveway aprons as well as manhole/valve adjustments and restoration along Broad Street East.
Driveway access may be restricted temporarily to complete certain components of the construction such as concrete sidewalk, curb work and driveway apron restoration. The County or Contractor will endeavor to provide advanced notice to any residents affected by these driveway access disruptions so that alternate parking and access can be arranged.
Staff understand that construction may cause temporary headaches to residents and business owners and ask that all affected individuals remain patient. The end goal of all construction work is to enhance our neighbourhoods and communities and the County is committed to minimizing disruption by communicating construction information in a timely manner and responding to resident needs/concerns. Anyone with questions or concerns regarding construction projects may contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 905-318-5932 ext. 6404.
Garbage/Recycling pickup: Please continue to place your garbage and recycling out on your usual day, in the usual location during construction. Please ensure that all items are placed curbside no later than 7:00 a.m. on the day of your regularly scheduled pickup.
