Dunnville Woodlot sustainable timber harvest (September 3-30)

A contractor working for the County will be cutting trees to harvest timber in the County-owned forest located between the Dunnville Arena and the Dunnville Soccer Park. The forested area of the Soccer Park will be closed to the public during harvesting operations from September 3, 2024 to September 30, 2024 (see the attached map). This sustainable timber harvest will conducted in accordance with Good Forestry Practices to improve forest health, productivity and timber value, remove hazardous trees and promote native tree regeneration.
