Can I register for a library card online?

Haldimand County Public Library membership is open to all residents of Haldimand County. A library card can be obtained at any of the six Library branches by providing proof of current local address. Please see Branch Hours and Locations information.

Where can I find genealogical (family history) resources?

Haldimand County Public Library offers physical genealogy records at the Dunnville branch through the Dunnville District Heritage Association, the Selkirk branch through the North Erie Shores Historical Society and the Jarvis branch through the Local History group. Free access to the full Ancestry.ca database is also available from the Library public use computers and using the Library wi-fi connection at all branches. Haldimand County Museums and Archives also offers a wide selection of genealogical resources.
