Commissioning of Documents

Commissioner of Oaths

Haldimand County offers Commissioner of Oaths services at our Cayuga Administration Building and satellite offices.

(Please Note: We do not have a Notary Public on staff.)

In order to have documents commissioned, all parties required to sign the document must be present and must provide valid photo identification.
The Commissioner will first review the document to determine if the document meets their specification.
If the paperwork is in order, all parties named in the document will then swear an oath, sign before the Commissioner and the Commissioner will then sign and stamp the document.

Please refer to Fee Schedule for the applicable fee. Cash, debit, VISA or MasterCard are accepted.

Contact our Administration or Satellite Offices for more information.
